What you?ll do

� Meets deadlines for work through use of time management.

� Identifies prioritization conflicts and works with PMs, Program Managers, Senior Software Developers, and leaders to resolve.

� Leverages practices to lead and simplify work and use resources effectively.

� Ensures accuracy and completeness of work to improve quality, build credibility, and avoid re-work.

� Seeks to understand business needs and delivers high quality service to the business while understanding the organization?s vision, purpose, and values.

� Is passionate about technology, the user experience, demonstrates inner self starter, and is accepting of and open to learning new ideas outside scope or knowledge.

What you bring to the role

� 7+ years of experience in Java Development

� Undergraduate degree or equivalent, graduate degree is preferred

� Experience with Web Application Design/Development - JSP, XML, XSL, Java Script, Single-page-applications, AngularJS, Node.js, RWD, HTML 5

� Experience with JavaEE frameworks (i.e., Spring, Struts)

� Experience with Tomcat, Websphere (7+), JBoss runtime environments

� Experience with Web Services Design/Development - SOAP, JAX-WS, JAXB2, JAX-RS, REST, Web API

� Unix shell scripting (i.e., Bash, Korn), Cloudify, TOSCA Blueprints, Batch Scheduler like Autosys

� Experience with Agile delivery methodology, particularly Scrum or a derivation (e.g., Product Backlog Definition, User Stories Estimation and Prioritization methodologies, Task Breakdown, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective), and related tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA)

� Experience with continuous integration and delivery methodologies and tooling (e.g., Maven, Nexus, Jenkins)

� Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer 8+, Eclipse 4.4+, GIT (Stash), Bitbucket

� Relational DBMS proficiency (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2)

� Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and related query languages

� Preferred skills would be considered an asset: Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), Hadoop/Spark/Cassandra, integration with vendor products and working with Third Party external companies
